Naked Raku

Unique porcelain vase is decorated with colored underglazes and a small turtle on the rim. It is Raku fired with a sacrificial slip referred to as "Naked Raku". The slip is cleaned off and the vase is waxed and polished to a soft satiny finish. Sized 8" x 7.5", it is lovely on a bookshelf or with dried flowers, it will not hold water!
