Founder of Bernhard Associates in 1984, he has specialized in corporate branding and identity programs for local industry while concurrently pursuing a career in fine art. He has exhibited his work in more than 30 solo shows, three museum exhibitions, and numerous group exhibitions. In January 2018, Bernhard was named Honorary Consul of Switzerland in Houston. For the past nine years, Bernhard has served as publisher and editor-in-chief of ArtHouston, the only magazine devoted exclusively to the arts in Houston.
50% of the sales from this exhibition went to our community partner, the remaining 50% to the artist. |
Community Partner: Be the Peace - Be the Hope, an organization serving elementary, middle, and high school students and their teachers. Programs provide social and emotional learning strategies, allowing the development of competencies to improve well-being and academic performance. Since its inception in 2015, Be the Peace - Be the Hope has worked with students throughout Houston and across the world to address negative social, emotional, and environmental factors that have contributed to children’s trauma, disengagement, delinquency, and academic failure.
