Early in the pandemic under the stress of the lockdown I had a lucid dream and saw the piece now called Solipsism, in which photos of photos taped to the canvas serve as models for the next visualization, ad infinitum, as though each were a higher and higher level of awareness as one might achieve in a meditation. The unfinished canvas adds to the dreamlike state of the piece.
