An Apple for Tish – The first teacher at the Edie School in 1909, Miss “Tish” Thomas. A string of young teachers came through the Edie School, living in ranches nearby. Most ended up marrying local ranchers or ranch hands, and thus new teachers showed up every two to three years. Image size is 11.25" x 17.5" (designed for standard 18x24 mat and frames).
