Once the gallery has been notified that artwork will be returned, the client has 3 days from the day the gallery was contacted to return the work through hand-delivery or via a shipping company with a tracking number.
If Archway Gallery is not notified of the intent to return artwork within 7 days of receipt or if the artwork in question is not returned to the gallery within 3 days of notification, there will be NO Refund. …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Commission Policy
Commissioned Artwork is priced based on the size, the medium, the complexity of the piece, and the artist's sales history. Commissioned artworks will be more than comparable to the work in an artist's portfolio, in terms of size and medium, due to the fact that the artist will spend time consulting with the client in reference to the project, create any necessary preliminary sketches, and must allocate a specific amount of studio hours specifically dedicated to the creation of personalized artwork.
Before the artist begins working on a commissioned work of art, the artist must receive a 50% non-refundable deposit via credit card and a signed Commission Contract. This assures that the artist will be paid for his/her time and materials. Once the commissioned artwork is complete, the artist will send the client a high resolution image of the work and/or will make arrangements for the client to view the work of art in person. If the client finds the commission acceptable, Archway Gallery will charge the balance to the credit card on record for the remaining 50% and will make delivery arrangements with the client.
If for some reason the client is not entirely satisfied when the commissioned artwork is received, the artist will work with the client to make small adjustments. There are no returns once the client takes possession of the artwork. …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Layaway Policy
Artwork on layaway will be retained by Archway Gallery until the full and final payment has been made. The Layaway Agreement shall not exceed 60 days from the date of the initial payment unless specified by Archway personnel. The initial payment of 1/3 of the sale price is required to hold items for layaway. The remaining balance is payable in 60 days unless otherwise specified by Archway personnel. All layaway payments are non-refundable.
If the remaining balance is not paid within the agreed timeframe, the buyer will be notified that the artwork being held will go back into circulation and payments to date will be retained by Archway Gallery. …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Art on Approval
Art on Approval allows the buyer an opportunity to see artwork in the desired space prior to purchase. The buyer pays the full price of the artwork to Archway Gallery as a “security deposit” and acknowledges receipt of the described artwork which will be taken out of the galley “On Approval.”
The buyer must agree to return the artwork to Archway Gallery within the agreed number of days documented on the contract should the decision be against purchasing the artwork. At the time of return, Archway Gallery will refund the monies deposited. If the buyer does not return the artwork within the agreed upon time frame, the sale is final and the buyer will have purchased the artwork as of the date it should have been returned.
Any artwork taken out of the gallery On Approval must be wholly undamaged should it be returned. The buyer assumes complete responsibility for any work of art removed from Archway Gallery and must pay the full retail price if the artwork is damaged or destroyed in any way during the time it is in the buyer’s possession. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………Delivery and Shipping Policy
