Vanessa Parker
Vanessa Parker just wanted to share her passion. Over twenty years ago, Vanessa realized a dream: to create her own company and become a professional jewelry artist. With a dedicated studio, a voracious appetite to learn, and a vast array of tools, she honed her craft, one style at a time. She created hundreds of pieces ranging from the most delicate of earrings to large pendants featuring gemstones she cut and polished herself. She continues to grow as an artist with everything she designs, always seeking ways to connect her customers with the perfect piece of jewelry. Vanessa has had the pleasure of being a guest jewelry artist at Archway Gallery since 2014. She lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband and son.

Guest Artists:
Ingrid van der Meer
Creating three-dimensional objects with metal gives her the freedom to express herself. She uses one-of-a-kind stones and different colors of metal, as well as vitreous enamels, to add color to her work. While she mostly works with silver and copper, she is also interested in experimenting with other materials like gold, brass, wood, glass, and plastic (take a look at her recycled earrings). Many of her designs originate from her dreams. Constantly observing her surroundings, she draws inspiration from nature, the shapes of buildings, or even shadows on the ground. She enjoys using bright colors in her work, as they represent her outlook on life. She believes that if you like a piece of art, it’s worth showing.
