JUROR STATEMENT
I am honored to be chosen to jury this important exhibition.
I enjoy the process of viewing art that I have not seen before. The event is akin to opening presents on Christmas. I am always surprised and delighted to discover talent that I am not familiar with. This region is blessed with a wide array of very gifted artists and the quality of the works attest to that abundance of creativity. My selections were purely subjective. I chose what connected with me at this particular time and place. The jurying process was difficult and if space had allowed, I would have chosen all of them. I had fun working thru the selection protocol and want to thank all of the Archway folks for their professionalism and helpful engagement during my visit.
