Juried Show Results: It's official, it was a wonderful success this year!!!!!
We were happy to host our 6th Annual Juried Exhibition to benefit the Houston Audubon this year. The opening reception was Saturday night July 12, 5 to 8 pm. A large crowd was on hand to applaud juror, Mark Larsen's selection of 54 fantastic original pieces of art. Mr. Larsen's selection was both eclectic and exciting. He chose a wide selection of mediums, including works of pottery, acrylic, watercolors, oils, fiber, paper, encaustic, collage, photography, metal and wood from a largely Houston-based group of 2D and 3D artists.
Mr. Larsen selected 54 pieces by 47 artists of the 199 entries. Of course, our own artists were on hand to help the more than 250 visitors enjoy the festivities of the opening reception.
Bravo to the winners and all of the artists who entered as well as those who were selected for the exhibition.
