Archway Gallery's 1st Annual Juried Exhibtion

This is a juried exhibition and fundraiser to benefit Houston Arboretum and Nature Center. The theme of the show is "Natural Habitat." Juror is Dean Ruck. The show opens with a reception, juror's remarks and awards presentation on Saturday, July 11, 3-8 pm.
The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center is a 155-acre nature preserve. Located in Memorial Park, the Arboretum is home to more than 75 varieties of native trees, 160 species of birds, 16 species of turtles, 10 species of frogs, and 33 kinds of butterflies. Visitors can enjoy five miles of walking trails to experience nature at its most dramatic and in exquisite detail.A bustling schedule of year-round activities and courses is available for adults, children, and families to create a sense of wonder and appreciation for nature.
