Tracey Meyer

Nature, wildlife, and the human condition are my inspiration; elements in the world around me are transcribed into new materials and styles through my artwork. Geometric forms play a significant role in my art and the countless combinations of these elements give me the ability to represent both order and disorder through my creative process. In addition, shapes are bold, strong, and elemental; funneling the organic through the abstract gives me a sense of perspective and allows me to discuss themes and ideas which I believe to be important. As a result, much of my work contains an element of social comment.​
