Whistles have been made since ancient times and in all parts of the world. The whistle is a simple flute made with a globular body and an air duct assembly that causes the sound. The size of the finger holes determines the pitch. This whistle is hand built with a pinching technique. The carved and glazed surface decoration is nature inspired.
