Pitfire Ceramic

23.5x2

The clay rain stick imitates the tubular needle rattle. Made from extruded clay, it has an internal array of ceramic needles and beads. When it is tipped, it produces a soft sound reminiscent of falling rain. The Pit fire surface decoration is created with seaweed, donkey dung, dried fruit and vegetable skins, seeds, pinecones, etc. in the fire and smoke of this process.

Shipping ceramics requires special packing considerations and will be quoted upon request.
