Independent-study life drawing sessions for adult enthusiasts 18 and older.
Two setups are available for artists. Short 10-15 minute poses are staged in one area of the gallery. Longer, 30 minute or one-hour poses in another area run concurrently. Both areas break for model changes at the 11:00 hour. Attending artists are free to work in the area of choice, space permitting. Additional model setups may be arranged on occasions that attendance warrants.
Artists are asked to clean their work areas and surfaces as the gallery opens to the public at 1:00 PM.
Scheduled models for the session are Lucia followed by David M on the short poses, and Darrick followed by Cate on the long poses. Models subject to change without notice.
The session begins promptly at 10:00 AM. A coffee break at approximately 11:00 allows for model changes. Artists and models arriving after 10 must use the back door entry (Maryland Street). Light refreshments are served throughout the session.
Bring your own drawing materials and portable easels if desired. The Gallery provides tables, easels and chairs. Doors open at 9:30 AM.
Parking is available on Dunlavy and Maryland Streets and in the parking lot behind the corner buildings near Fairview. Do not park under the carport behind the dumpsters nor in the side spaces on Maryland allotted for the furniture and framing companies.
No photography is allowed at the Archway sessions with the exception of promotional work by gallery staff.
