Barefoot at the Beach by Terry Crump
Acrylic on Canvas
24 x 30
There was no plan as to how this painting would turn out. I just wanted to create some diagonal shapes to express movement. When it was halfway finished, the image reminded me of going to the beach last summer. I then attempted to exploit that notion. I reworked and painted new layers until I was satisfied that the image felt like the beach as the water pushed its way ashore and retreated to the deep.
