I moved to Texas many years ago from Western New York where there seem to be a pizza store on every corner. That was the inspiration behind this painting. I had no idea how it was going to turn out. I just plugged away until things started to happen. The biggest form in the painting finally said "pizza store" to me. I knew I was nearly done at that point.
