Michael Angell

My art approaches the Intuitive World of Imagination; the archaic/shamanic, totemic, fairies/mythical beings, fantasy and dreamtime. I'm a poet and storyteller, deeply involved in developing new ways of comprising form and story; one of my main focuses is creating bespoke, heirloom artworks that speak to personal, intimate homestead spaces. I'm inspired by Nature, the Paradoxical, Psychology, Archetypes, Animals, The Alien, Insects, Ocean-life and Dream-time existence.
