I explore the abstract because of my deep rooted desire to move away from the intense structure of both my personal and professional life. It continues to be a journey that is both exciting and frustrating. Letting go is not easy but can be very rewarding once it actually happens. She explores the use of bold contrasting color which result in powerful, eye catching paintings. To me the strong contrast reflects where I have been with where I want to go.
