"What I love about photography is how it allows me to capture individual moments from the lives we live every day. The lens, unlike our eyes, will isolate a moment from what came before it and what came after it, will take it out of context and make it stand on its own, frozen in time, forever. It then offers us the opportunity to start adding the smells, the emotions, the sounds, the surroundings and all the ingredients we need to create the story it evokes in us."
